The Forgotten Viking Kingdom Across the Water: Power, Culture & Legacy in the Isle of Man
Join us for an engaging evening exploring the Viking Age in the Irish Sea and the Isle of Man’s connections with medieval Ireland.
Allison Fox, Curator of Archaeology at Manx National Heritage, will explore the Isle of Man’s Viking heritage, archaeology and cultural legacy.
Seán Duffy, Professor of Medieval Irish and Insular History, will examine the Vikings’ influence across the Irish Sea and their lasting impact on medieval Ireland, including Dublin.
Two fascinating perspectives on the people, power and connections that shaped the Irish Sea world.
